WHAT CHANGED?

What materially changed?

A dated public record of changes that altered the Lab's research, methods, institution, or public interface.

This is not every commit, task, or idea. It highlights changes that materially changed what the Lab knows, how it works, what is publicly understandable, or what another person can now inspect or do.

This is a curated public record of meaningful changes in the Lab and website. It highlights durable changes and selected earlier milestones; it is not a complete commit log or activity feed.

THREE TIME SCALESRecent changes. Current priorities. Long-term history.
WHAT COUNTS AS A CHANGE?A change belongs here when the Lab is meaningfully different afterward.

Routine polish, intermediate commits, task movement, and speculative notes do not automatically qualify. A record belongs here when it changes the durable research record, an institutional capability, a public explanation, or what another person can now inspect, test, use, or continue.

MATERIAL CHANGE ARCHIVE

A curated history of changes that moved the Lab forward.

Each item points back to an exact repository revision. Recent entries are joined by selected earlier milestones so readers can follow institutional development without wading through a complete GitHub activity feed.
RECENT CHANGESThe latest material changes in the Lab and website.

These are the recent changes most worth knowing about. The compact Home and Now surfaces draw from this same set.

Public interface2026-10-02 · 1d90fd2

The public website was brought into line with the Lab's current doctrine.

The public site now better matches the Lab's current state and is easier to understand without a founder walkthrough, while technical detail remains available for readers who want to inspect it.

The Lab's internal priority shifted from adding components to closing complete loops.

The next test is whether the Lab can reconstruct its own priorities from durable state, carry at least one real research object end to end, and use the result to update the institution rather than merely describe it.

The Lab added an executable check against double-counting dependent evidence.

In the bounded experiment, treating dependent evidence as independent could change a downstream governance choice. The result strengthens the rule that more evidence records do not necessarily mean more independent support, while remaining a finite experiment rather than a universal statistical theory.

The Lab now separates who did something from who had the authority to approve it.

This gives the Lab a clearer way to represent human, software, and AI participation without assuming that performing an action also grants decision authority. The refinement remains a working synthesis, not a universal theory of agency or authority.

The Lab connected its research process from question to public result.

The Lab can now test whether one real research object can move through the full institutional lifecycle while keeping scientific standards and consequential decisions with the people or source systems responsible for them.

Method2026-09-29 · f03bf02

The Lab clarified how much of a system must be modeled before implementation begins.

Software Before Code no longer implies that every project needs a complete ontology or database model before work can start. A team can begin with the smallest model that safely supports the next step and add structure when real execution shows that it matters.

The Lab's central directory reached 621 durable record systems.

The public snapshot can now distinguish the latest applied record state from later proposed or preflight-only changes instead of presenting candidate work as already complete.

Institution2026-09-27 · 989e373

The Lab completed a whole-institution inventory of its durable record systems.

Finding durable institutional state no longer depends on remembering where folders live. The Lab now has an explicit directory showing which record systems exist, who owns them, and how changes should be maintained.

The Lab can now trace which other records may be affected when a source changes.

The Lab can inspect likely ripple effects without pretending that every reachable record is automatically a direct dependency or silently rewriting the source records it is observing.

Website v3 cleared a release-QA accessibility and narrow-layout pass.

The institutional surface is more usable on narrow screens and more inspectable by assistive technology without weakening the existing release-QA thresholds.

ReductionAssessmentProfile became a live bounded promotion-prerequisite gate.

The Lab gained a reusable engineering interface for blocking readiness on missing evidence, claim ceilings, witness integrity, or re-verification without confusing the gate with human promotion authority or new cross-domain semantics.

Observation, identifiability, and bounded warrant became a canonical working manuscript.

A previously distributed research thread now has a specific manuscript object, source/claim boundaries, and a clearer route to review without claiming a new general theory of knowledge or statistical sufficiency.

The Observatory executed a minimum bounded institution.

The executable-institution idea moved from architecture alone to a replayable finite fixture whose authority boundaries and failure cases can be inspected directly.

EARLIER MILESTONESSelected earlier moments that changed the shape of the Lab.

Earlier entries are included when they created a durable research object, institutional capability, public surface, important route, or responsibility boundary. This remains a curated history, not a mirror of the commit log.

Federated architecture and Architecture Observatory work reached current Lab main.

The Lab's architecture-inspection machinery and federated-operations documentation now participate in current canonical institutional state.

EXP-ASM-005 execution was carried into canonical research state.

The bounded control results can now be inspected as part of the durable Agentic Scientific Method research record.

Research Engineering became an explicit institutional cornerstone.

The Lab now has a more explicit method-level bridge between design lineage, scientific method, agentic execution, Boundary-First constraints, and durable research artifacts.

Boundary First Weather gained durable research and registry routing.

Weather is now easier to traverse across product, research, publication, lineage, and machine-readable registry surfaces without collapsing those identities together.

The website gained explicit Now, What Changed, and Lab Through Time views.

A visitor can now inspect the institution across present state, change history, and longer-term development rather than seeing only a static description.

The 151-item high-priority registry recovery wave closed.

A large body of previously under-registered work now has durable identity, routing, and machine-parity state instead of remaining dependent on folder memory and branch archaeology.

Institutional routes became canonical public URLs.

Research, products, institutional pages, and deep links can now be treated as the canonical public site rather than as a parallel versioned shell.

Website v3 became the institutional face of Boundary First Labs.

The public site shifted from an earlier shell toward the current institution-oriented information architecture and visual system.

Paired Poincare / Navier-Stokes singularity calibration was reconciled.

The comparison now has durable corpus presence without implying that either mathematical problem has been solved or promoted.

Knowledge normalization and integration debt were reconciled into the corpus.

The Lab's representation-maintenance problem is documented as part of the work rather than treated as invisible housekeeping.

Website v3 content architecture was reconciled into the Lab corpus.

The public interface and the research corpus are less likely to drift into two unrelated descriptions of the Lab.

Regime-recovery formalization completed its reconciliation replay.

Its lineage is preserved through the reconciliation process, which is itself useful evidence about recoverability and corpus maintenance.

AI-assisted candidate verification protocol was reconciled.

AI-assisted research can be discussed through an inspectable verification protocol rather than as an unbounded claim about agent capability.

The first public architecture and review gates landed.

This is an early durable boundary in the site's history: the public interface became a governed projection rather than a loose collection of pages.
